Michal Jasinski is a project engineer at UL Solutions, currently living in Warsaw, Poland.
Jasinski holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland. After moving to Warsaw, his postgraduate studies in lighting at Warsaw University of Technology.
Jasinski has performed optical radiation product safety evaluations since 2012, and since 2018 at UL Solutions. His experience also includes electrical safety evaluations of consumer and lighting products as well as photometric evaluations of lighting products (including CCT, CRI and light distribution measurements).
In his role at UL Solutions, Jasinski evaluates products to the optical radiation safety standards — mainly IEC 62471, the IEC/EN 60825 series, EN 50689 and FDA/CDRH 21 CFR. He is a first point of contact and support for local European UL Solutions staff with questions related to optical radiation. Jasinski is also involved in Optical Radiation services growth in the European region.
In his career, Jasinski has been a member of the IECEE ETF 5 and an IECEE Technical Assessor.
His hobbies include physics, astronomy, cars and cats.
